I was born in New York City. My mother was an actress from East Tennessee, my father a playwright from England. My Dad's one piece of advice to me was: "Not a word of dialogue until the plot is finished."
As I mentioned on the Main Page, I had left college back in the early 80s to work in the offshore oil industry with subsequent varied employment, always intending to be a paperback writer.
I have found my way through blundering, big blundering. Would I do things differently? Yes.
